No action was ta ken. <br /> Mr. Cournney was requested to repreaent the village at court if the traffic <br /> violation case of Nw. Kenneth Luff is appealed to a higher court. <br /> :lIlayor Ashbach requested the League of Women Voters of Arden Hills to write <br /> some information to village residents in regard to the liquor ballot to be <br /> 4Ifubmitted to the voters at the coming village election in December. <br /> ~~yor Ashbach reported that he had discussed the problem of business develop- <br /> ment attiUl the Twin Cities Arsenal with Mr. Marsh at ~ae Business Develop- <br /> ment Department. J~. Wm. Farrel has charge of the subject for us. <br /> Mayor Ashbach reported that he and !lIrs. Stromquist had attended a meetLig at <br /> Roseville in which the North Suburban Recreation Council had re~pted their <br /> recommendations. Their report was placed in the Clerk'S files. <br /> Mr. Ashbach suggested a possible regular' council meetbg every two weeks <br /> instead of once a month to facilitate quicker hanfiling of problems of the <br /> residents. The ma ttel': was tabled until the first of the year. <br /> CLERK'S REPORT: 1~s. Stromquist reported that we need at least three new <br /> ballot boxes for the coming general ele~tion. Hoyt moved and DeLan~... <br /> seconded the motion Clerk purchase tr~ee ballot boxes. Motion passed. <br /> Upon motion by Stromquist, seconded by Hoyt, the following election boaJ:'d <br /> was appointed for the December 4 Annual Village ~lection: <br /> .Jane Rank, .Judge <br /> W~s.
