Shaun Jensen
Shaun has spent most of his life in TC North. He is a graduate of Spring Lake Park high school where he
excelled in sports and academics. He is one of the only basketball players on the "Wall of Fame' at SLP
high school. Shawn then took his talents to St. Cloud State University to study Finance and to continue
his love of basketball. No surprise, he continued to excel in both. Shaun was the leader of his team and
an All -American point guard at St. Cloud State. He is a bit of a legend there.
After college, Shaun worked for Ameriprise Financial and was one of their most successful money
managers. He was offered many management promotions that would take him away from his home
community to places like Denver or Dallas. At the same time, Shaun was busy in the sports world
training young boys and girls with their basketball skills. He quickly achieved a reputation as a trainer
that not only was amazing at coaching basketball but had an amazing ability to connect with the kids.
They all loved him. He had the problem of too many kids asking for his training, and not enough time.
The connection with the people in this community kept Shaun from taking those promotions in other
cities. He wants to make this community better.
Shaun then decided to take his financial management skills and start his own business. His customer
base loves working with Shaun, and they get results from his work. Shaun now operates his own highly
successful financial management business. He somehow still has time for his basketball kids and will
always have that passion to pass on to the next generation.
Shaun is married and has two young children. He enjoys every moment with them but could use a little
more sleep. Shaun can't wait to get the MNTWC built so he can mentor so many more kids in basketball
and more importantly in life skills. Shaun's passion is to make a difference in each life he gets to touch,
and sports are just a way to make lives better.
