II VILLAGE COUNCIL, VILLAGE OF ARDEN HILLS, <br /> II RAMSEY COUNTY, MINNESOTA, HELD ON <br /> I' THE 5th DAY OF DECEMBER, 1957. <br /> " <br /> ,! <br /> Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a special meeting of <br /> the Village Council of the Village of Arden Hills, Ramsey County, Minnesota, <br /> was duly called and held at the Village Hall in said Village on the 5th day <br /> of December , 1957, at 3:10 o'clock P.M. <br /> Ii The following members were present: <br /> II Robert O. Ashbach, Mayor <br /> il Harvey H. Hoyt, Trustee <br /> II L. H. Winfrey, Trustee <br /> ,I Lorraine E. Stromquist, Village Clerk <br /> !: <br /> and the following were absent: <br /> B. J. DeLange, Trustee <br /> The Mayor then announced that the next order of business was <br /> the consideration of the returns of the judges and clerks for the election <br /> held December 3 , 1957. The Clerk presented affidavits showing <br /> publication of the notice of election and posting of the same, which affidavits <br /> were examined, found satisfactory and ordered placed on file. <br /> I' <br /> Ii The Clerk then presented the official returns of the judges of <br /> Ii said election on the question of the issuance of bonds. After due consider- <br /> !i ation of said returns, member L. H. Winfrey introduced the <br /> il following resolution and moved its adoption. <br /> II RESOLUTION DETERMINING RESULTS OF ELECTION <br /> Ii BE IT RESOLVED, by the Village Council of the Village of <br /> . Arden Hills, Minnesota, that it is hereby found and determined that the <br /> election held in and for said Village on December 3 , 1957, has been <br /> called and held and the results thereof canvassed in all respects according <br /> to law, and that at said election the votes cast on the question of issuing <br /> bonds for purchase of certain real estate in the Village were as follows: <br /> Votes YES 297 ; Blank or spoiled ballots <br /> 9 , <br /> , <br /> Votes NO 179 ; <br /> and Total Ballots 485 ; <br /> and that said proposition carried by more than the requisite majority vote. <br /> The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was <br /> duly seconded by member Harvey H. Hoyt and upon vote being taken <br /> thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br /> Robert O. Ashbach, Mayor <br /> Harvey H. Hoyt, Trustee <br /> . L. H. Winfrey, Trustee <br /> Lorraine E. Stroxnquist, Village Clerk <br /> . and the following voted against the same: <br /> None <br /> _II <br />
