<br />. <br /> <br />SCATE OF MINNESOTA <br />OOUNTY OF RAMSEY <br />VILUlGE OF ARDEN HILLS <br /> <br />RESOLUl'ION C<J4MENDUli ARDEN HILLS SPORTSMEN'S CLUB <br /> <br />)IHEREAS, the Arden Hi lls Sportsmenl s Club is a voluntary association of . <br />men frOlll the VillBges in rural Ramsey County, 'Which association has been or- <br />ganized for the purpose of prOllloting civic and community athletics and sporting <br />events of all kinds, and <br /> <br />l!IHEREAS, in the past this Club has sponsored hockey teams, baseball teams <br />and softball teams in this area, thus aiding the children of the area and pro- <br />moting a healtny participation in such sports, and <br /> <br />WIEREAS, the Club has also sponsored the Annual Kid's Fishing Contest at <br />Lake Johanna, 'Which event has been well-conducted and well-attended, and <br /> <br />llHEREAS, the members of the Club have unselfishly contributed their time <br />on a non-profit basis for the benefit of Arden Hills and the surrounding commun- <br />ities, <br /> <br />rDW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Village Council of Arden Hills does <br />hereby commend the Arden Hills Sportsmen's Club for its programs and accomplish- <br />ments in the past, and, on behalf of itself and the people of Arden Hills, does <br />hereby express appreciation to the Club and its members, and its hope that the <br />activities of the Club will be continued and expanded in the future. <br /> <br />Passed by the Council of the Village of Arden Hills this 2-- b day of <br /> <br />January, 1959. <br /> <br />,~ f5~~ <br />Clerk t! <br /> <br />Attest: <br /> <br />~:-hJ'May&J.~~ <br />or <br />
