This is the area that comprises the majority of the <br />residents wbo would be receiving the immediate service. I'm <br />speaking in favor of this project personally and as President of <br />the association which we have formed in our area, I have contaced <br />a number of our neighbors who are well represented here tonight <br />and I'd like to say that I have found 100% approval of this <br />project. These are the people who are going to be paying the <br />$1500 and $2000 for the immediate hook up. I don't want to put <br />words into any of their mouths but I just wantedto go on record <br />as having made that informal survey. <br />MAYOR ASHBr~H: Dr. Sekhon is cur Village Health Officer. <br />DR. SEKHON: This is the third sewer meeting where I have <br />met Mr. Popovich, WJ. Short and Mr. Bcnister. The first one was <br />in 1955 in December. The second one was last spring. This is the <br />third one. ';Ie have the same problem in Rosevi 11e that we have in <br />our own village here of Arden Hills. Sewer is running down the <br />streets. It's allover. The southwest area here is the worst. <br />It's also true in our area. I have s.en one cesspool run down <br />the street since I moved in in 1953. W. have a lot of problems here <br />and we have been trying to talk to the people tc improve their <br />sewers and they say, well, pumping costs $25.00 a load. The second <br />
