Motion passed. A publio hearing was set for <br />June 29, 1959 at 8:00 P.M. at the Village Hall. <br /> <br />Trustee Kennedy suggested it might be advisable to omit the serivoes <br />of Talbot Jones, Planning Consultant, as we now have the Planning committee, <br />Village Engineer and Village Attorney to consult on plat developement. Mr. <br />Kennedy to inquire about status of village maps being drawn up by Mr. <br />Jones. <br /> <br />Kennedy repartee that the proposed Round Lake Hills plat will be disoussed <br />at the next meeting. <br /> <br />Public Safety Committee: Trustee Crepeau reoommended payment of elaim <br />of $15.00 for shirts and oaps for village polioe officers. Vie Weber, <br />polioe Chief reported he had been able to obtain matohing Drousers free <br />of charge for the polioe department. <br /> <br />Finanoe Committee: Mrs. Stromquist reported the oommittee met with Insur- <br />anoe agent Wm Hite and recommended the insuranoe policies as attached. <br />Upon motion by Stromquist, seoonded by Kennedy, the attaohed list of <br />ipsurance coverage policies were approved for ythe ourrent year. Carried. <br /> <br />stromquist reported that Committee recommended that new liquor request <br />for Off Sale liquor by Kathleen Keiffer for Mar-Dee's Inn be oonsidered <br />after the Waldock applioation. Counoil aoceptedrecommendation. <br /> <br />Upon motion by stromquist, seconded by Kennedy, the following licenses <br />were approved for Kathleen S. Kieffer for Mar-Dee's Inn at 4760 N. Hy. 8: <br />Cafe, Juke Box, Soft DrinkS, Cigarettes, On and Off Sale Non-Intoxicating <br />malt liquors. Motion passed. <br /> <br />Upon motion by Crepeau, seconded by Kennedy, Claims 1762 thru 1775 and <br />1783 thru 1798 were approved for payment. Motion passed. <br /> <br />Building Inspector Kelley recommended for condemnation the old building <br />at 3411 Lake Johanna Blvd. Clerk to cheok minutes to see provisions for <br />old building when building permit was issued for new house about Jan. or <br />Feb., 1958, and inform Mr. Kennedy. <br /> <br />~ <br /> <br />Vie Weber, Pol.Chief fequested Council to oonsider an ordinance prohibitinF <br />peddlers 1n village.
