<br /> Minutes of Regular Council Meeting, September 28, 1959 <br /> 6 <br /> . Mr. Kennedy moved that the Council request Village Clerk to order the <br /> Village Hall appraised through Wm. Hite, insuranoe agent, cost not to <br /> exceed $25.00. Seoonded by DeLange. motion carried. <br /> A letter from the Minnesota Water Pollution Control Commission approving <br /> the plans submitted for sewerage facilities in the Village was read. <br /> They requested that the enolosed form be mailed to their office when the <br /> project is completed. Letter referred to Clerk. <br /> . An invitation from North St. Paul inviting the Council to attend the <br /> Fall Regional meeting of the League of Minnesota Municipalities in the <br /> Village on October 7 was read. Three Council members, Ashbach, Crepeau <br /> and Kennedy. indicated that they planned to attend. <br /> A letter from Thomas. Bradford, King & Collatz, attorneys for the Village <br /> of Shoreview was read in which they stated that some of their residents <br /> were disturbed by an asphalt plant operating in the north end of the villag <br /> at the Twin City Ordinance Plant. The matter was referred to the mayor. <br /> Robert W. Nixon's application for a rubbish and garbage hauling license <br /> was again submitted for Council approval. He included a complete schedule <br /> of rates with application. Mr. Kennedy moved that the Council grant him <br /> a license subject to the Health Officer's approval. Motion seconded by <br /> DeLange. Motion carried. <br /> . Claims #1900 through #1926 were presented for payment. Mr. Crepeau moved <br /> vhat these claims be paid. DeLange seconded motion. Motion carried. <br /> Mr. Ashbach moved that a 11 meetings held in the Village Hall be scheduled <br /> through the Clerk1s Office so as to avoid conflicts. Motion seoonded by <br /> Kennedy. Motion passed. <br /> The Mayor brought up the matter of publishing Village Council meeting <br /> minutes in the legal newspaper. The matter was referred to the Clerk <br /> to check cost of this and the number of people living in Arden Hills <br /> that actually take the Rose Tribunel <br /> Clay Kelley, Building Inspector, stated that he has had a request for a <br /> permit to attaCh a basement garage to a basement house at 4235 North Raw- <br /> line Ave nue . He felt that this would actually be upgrading the property <br /> as the basement house was built before Arden Hills incorporated and new <br /> owner plans to build on the entire area next year. The Council agreed to <br /> leave the matter to the judgment of Kennedy and Kelley as to whether or not <br /> . to grant this permit. <br /> The meeting was adjourned at 11110 p.m. <br /> . ~ ~. ~..t:. <br /> ROBERT O.ASHBACH,Mayor <br /> LOREAINE E.
