<br /> Minutes of November 30 Council Meeting <br /> Pege 3 <br />. Mr. Wm. McGuire and Jos. Lambert informed Council they now have a loca- <br /> tion to build an On and Off Sale Liquor establishment at 1201 W. County <br /> Road E and applied for liquor licenses for McGuire's Liquor's Inc., On- <br /> Sale to be issued to Wm. McGuire and Off-Sale to Lois McGuire. <br /> Mr. Ralph Kieffer submitted an application to Council for an On-Sale <br />. liquor license to be located at 4760 North Highway 8. <br /> After dicsussion, Council agreed to grant liquor licenses to McGuire's <br /> Liquor's Inc. Motion made by Crepeau, seconded by DeLange that an <br /> Off-Sale liquor license be granted to Lois McGuire for McGuire's Liquor's <br /> Inc., to be located at 1201 W, County Road E, license effective December 1, <br /> 1959 through December 31, 1959, subject to approval by the State .Li~uor <br /> Commlss ion, Motion passed. <br /> Motion made by Crepeau, seconded by DeLange that William McGuire be <br /> granted an On-Sale Liquor license for McGuire's, Inc. , l20l W. County <br /> Road E, effective December 1, 1959 through December 31, 1959 subject to <br /> approval of building plans and parking layout for building and grounds <br /> by Village Building Inspector. Motion passed. <br /> Mr. McGuire and Mr. Lambert informed Council that they will construct <br /> a wing to the building in spring of 1960 for serving food as shown in <br />. building plans submitted as per Council request, <br /> PUBLIC SAFETY: Vie Weber, police Chief, reported on a traffic safety <br /> patrol conducted by police Departments of all Rural Ramsey County. <br /> Council authorized DeLange to have ice skating and hockey rinks swept <br /> and lights turned on for skating December 1, 1959 and to purchase an <br /> Arlington ice planer prlDed at $5i5.00 on a trial basis. Mr. Jos. <br /> Lambert informed Council that if the ice planer proves sajisfactory, <br /> he is willing to donate one/half the price of it to the Village. <br /> Mayor's Report: Ashbach reported a proposed meeting with Arsenal <br /> officials and Arden Hills officials for next week. Ashbach stated <br /> Council may hold a special meeting in near future to consider appoint- <br /> ment of a sewer engineer for the northern part of the Village. <br /> Clerk's Report: Board of Appeals minutes of November ll, 1959 were <br /> submitted to Council. <br />. Budget reports through October, 1959 were submitted to Council, <br /> A letter from AH#3 Association re: a building on Lambros property was <br /> read to Council. <br /> Claims #1962 throl~h #1996 were approved by Council for payment. <br />.
