SHORT: Another fact to compare Falcon Heights and Arden
Hills. Arden Hills is more clay than sand. Sand will remain
relatively stable after the work is completed whereas you can
pack clay until the cows come home and still following a frost
it will tend to soften up so as ~I. Popovich said it's hard to
compare one with another on all conditions because conditions are
just different as to soil and other things.
MP.S. BILL WOLF, 3170 No. Hamline: I was wondering what the
comparison was of our improvements on Number 1 and 2 as compared
with this estimate on 3. ahat the footage costs are.
NAYOR ASHBACH: I know the estimate for Improvement No. 1 was
$12.50 a frent foot. It came out cheaper than that. That has not
been worked out yet.
~R. POPOVICH: In Number 1 it was $12.60 a front foot and Nc. 2
it was $10.50 a front foot sc we're a little less here. The reason
for it in Improvement No. I, it was such a small ;:>roject and yet
you had certain costs involved irrespective of the number of homes.
~R. SHORT: I think the principal reason for the difference -
~RS. ~OLF: I meant between $120,000 and $600,000.
hR. SHORT: Because of the size of the improvement.
NAYOR ASHBACH: Any other questions?

.

.
