The sewer system. as proposed, would connect to the Village of Rosevillesew.r ~ys't1"'~t app:td~trl1~te~ the intex:section, or' Glen Hill Road or County Road D and Hamline Avenue, The outlet fox: the sewage from this area was constx:uetedin 19~9 by the Village of RosevUle and the authority for the enlargement of that sewex: was authorized by the village council following the heuing for Improvement N . 1 and this outlet was created and ill now existing up to this point. The out let f or completed Improvement No. 1 15 made at the interseetion of Snelling and Glen Hill Road which eventually reaehes the same point for continuation on into the City of .5aintPaul. The system here is proposed all drain$ eventually either by gravity ox: through lift stations from one large lift station at the intersection of Ingerson Road and HamUne . Avenue and is lifted through a 10 inch force main and pumped $outherly to the point of connection with the Rosevllle system. . The reason tor that Is that the area in Arden Hills lies somewhat lower than the area to the south in R,oleville making it necessary that it be lifted to discharge. Everything connected from this area must be lifted. There are no gravity connections in the Roseville sewer system. The same condition was true in this area that ~verythin9 had to be lifted with the exception of the last house on Glen Hill Road adjacent to Hamline Avenue. In this program. the houses aren't shown in detail on this map as they were on the maps whieh were fastened up to the wall here and which you had an opportunity to look at earlier this evening. ,The location of sewers, however, is shown. And in each and every case "it is the same as that shown upon the maps on the side walls.
