<br /> ~ .. <br /> / Minutes of Speoial council Meeting <br /> Village of Arden Hills <br /> Wednesday, December 9, 1964 <br /> The meeting was c~lled to order at 7:30 p.m. by Acting Mayor Crepeau. <br /> Roll Call: Present _ Trustees Crepeau and Olmen, Clerk Lorraine <br /> Stromquist <br /> Absent _ Mayor Kennedy, Trustee Nethercut <br /> The minutes of the Annual Village Election held Tuesday, December 8, 1964, <br /> were read by Clerk Lorraine Stromquist; motion by Trustee Olmen, seconded <br /> by Trustee Crepeau, approved the minutes as read; carried. James A. !fang <br /> 4It and Robert Nethercut wera declared elected Trustees and Victor O. Pomerenke <br /> , wes declared elected Justice of the Peace. <br /> Upon recommendation bJ. Clerk L"lrraine Stromquist, motion was mads by <br /> Trustee Crepeau, seconded by Trustee Olmen, that Mr. Virgil Keller, 1980 <br /> Glenpaul Road, be appointed Village Heating Inspector to replace Walter <br /> Baugh, who has resigned _ appointment to be effective January 1, 1965, <br /> carried. Letter of appreciation for service to the Village to be sent <br /> to Mr. Baugh after first of year. <br /> Record keeping for the Police Department, with the advisability of the <br /> Clerk's office taking Care of some detail work, such as typing routine <br /> accident reports, was discussed briefly. Trustee Crepeau to study the <br /> matter and advise. <br /> Motion by Trustee crepeau, seconded by Trustee Olmen, to appoint James <br /> La Valle to the Arden Hills Police Dept. as patrolman at a monthly <br /> salary of $450.00 per month plus $2.20 per hour for any overtime per- <br /> formed over 40 hours per week; appointment effective December 1, 1964; <br /> carried. <br /> Motion by Trustee Crepeau, seconded by Trustee Olmen, to install one <br /> additional line to present telephone system at Village Hall and to <br /> order an extention lin6 from the present telephone at storage building <br /> to the Village Hell which can be answered ~om the Clerk's office, if <br /> there is no one at the police office; carried. <br /> Meeting was adjourned at 9:00 p.m. <br /> jI) <br /> d~;-rai~e s~ <br /> ,.. <br /> ~.:&=_"~___~____,,>_._"__~~_~_"'--_"" ~__ .... ____ __"____ _~_.-w.. .. ---- .... -----."------ _.._..-LL ~ ........~~ ~~ . . -_.......~ <br />
