The minutes of the Regular Qouncil Meeting of October 26, 1964, were <br /> approved as amended. <br /> ----. ~~, ~- . <br /> Gregorich Sewer Matter <br /> John Gregorich, 1609 Lake Johanna Blvd., had received a letter from <br /> Don Lund, Banister Engineering Co., which contained recommendations <br /> for connection of his property to the Arden Hills sanitary sewer ~- <br /> system. Copies of this letter were also sent to the. !,embers' of the <br /> Council. Mayor Kennedy suggested that Mr. Gregorich install a <br /> private line with Banister ~ngineering Co. determining a connector <br /> of sufficient size to accomodate the Miske property; he suggested <br /> that Mr. Gregorich confer with Mr. Miske and consider installing a <br /> olt pipe line ins tead of the required 4" line to accomoda te the Miske <br /> property at a future date with Mr. Miske paying the difference in <br /> the cost of the pipe. <br /> Matter referred to Atty. Courtney to determine if the easement in~ <br /> volved is a private or public eQsement. <br /> Mayor Kennedy moved that Banister Engineering Co. be instructed to <br /> proceed with the plans and specifications for the installation of <br /> the stub; seconded by Trustee Crepeau; motion carried. <br /> GreRorich Building Permit <br /> Mr. Gregorich informed the Council that it is possible that the <br /> Building Permit he has for an addition to his house will not be <br /> completed in the required one year time limitation. Building Insp 0 <br /> Clay Kelley suggested that an e:tension of time be requested by <br /> Mr. Gre gorich when this becOl..es evident. <br /> TexaCO Screening <br /> Mr. Leroy Hetnlck, 2030 Glenpaul hoad, appeared'and informed the <br /> Council that adequate screening has not been provided by the Texaco <br /> Station on ~leveland and County hoad II as required by Village Ordinance. <br /> , <br /> Mr. Hetrick informed the Council that he had talked with a represent- <br /> ative from the Texaco Co. and had reached an agreement that a redwood <br /> fence type of screening would be supplied by Texaco with Mr. Hetrick <br /> volu teering to supply the labor, but a decision had not been reached <br /> as to on whose property the fence would be constructed. <br /> Trustee Nethercut stated that this plan has evidently been dropped <br /> '. as Texaco now intends to have the Elling Nursery plant about forty <br /> Poplar trees for screening. The Council agreed with Mr. Hetrick <br /> that this would not be satisfactory for year rourd screening. <br /> Mayor Kennedy read the Ordinance concerning screening on Commercial <br /> property. <br /> Matter referred to Trustee Nethercut to again confer with Texaco. <br /> County Road D (Lakeview Avenue) <br /> Floyd Snyker, hamsey Co~; Entineer's office, presented a copy of the <br /> proposed expansion of tHe County Park at Lake Josephine, stating <br /> that the County propose& to acquire the property north of the present <br /> park and bounded by Lex~ngton Avenue, County hoad D (Lakeview Ave.) <br /> and the beach as an add~ti8n to their park.
