Rezoning Petition <br /> Atty. Courtney reported that he had rec~d a petition. applica- <br /> tion and survey regarding the rezoning R-3 to Multiple <br /> DwelUng the ~opert7 in the NW * of the NE t of Sed 34. T 30, <br /> R 23. Atty. ourtney was requested to check the material and <br /> forward it to the Planning COlImiasion. Atty. Courtney informed <br /> the Counoil that Mr. Joa. Lembert, who is requesting the rezoning <br /> had not signed the petition. Clerk requested to obtain h18 signa- <br /> ture. <br /> REPORT OF ATTY. COURTNEY <br /> PUblio Works Reserve Fund Ordinanoe <br /> Mayor Kennedy introduced by title and moved the first reading be <br /> given to an Ordinance, aa submitted by Atty. Courtney. establish- <br /> ing the Public Works Reserve Fund, designating capital improve- <br /> ments for which the fund may be u8ed and other purposes for whllch <br /> the fund may be used. and uathorizing the levy of taxes for the <br /> support of the fund, seconded by Clerk Lorraine Stromquist, <br /> motion oarried. <br /> Siuad Car Contract <br /> A ty. Courtney informed the COU~lcil thBt the contraot with Midway <br /> Ford Company for a new squad C81' i8 in the man. <br /> Oak Avenue Improvements <br /> A1lty. COU1'1lney 1nrormed the Council that he belives Mr. Kaldahl <br /> is agreeable to signing an easement for the Oak Avenue 1mproveme.t, <br /> but he is not completely utisfied with the grade of his driveway. <br /> Atty. Courtney stated that Robert A8hbach had given the ea8ement <br /> on the ea8t 8ide of the road on oondition that the Village vacste <br /> the corre8pOnding property on the west side in front of Kaldahl's <br /> property.The Council requested Banister Engineering Co. to submit <br /> the leagl description of the Ksldahl property to Atty. Courtneyo <br /> Bagr. Donald Lund informed the Council of a request from Mr. Lcmbard <br /> to have the area between the driveway and the property Une be <br /> 80dded rather than 8eeded. The Couaoil denied the request as there <br /> 18 no steep 8lope 1nvolved and there would be additional expense. <br /> Uniform Build1ng Code <br /> >. Atty. Oourtney stated that he is still waiting for the legal draft <br /> of the White Bear Ordinance regarding the Uniform Building Code, <br /> but e.,peots to have this for the next Council meeting. <br /> REPORT OF ENGJ:NEER DONAID LURD <br /> Oak Avenue <br /> rus ee en s a e s e e t adequate supervision by <br /> Banister Eng1neering Co. was not aiven to the blacktopph:tot Oak <br /> Avenue.
