Vincent p. <br />Courtney and ~ngineer vonald Lund. <br /> <br />The minutes of the Hegulnr Council Meeting of May 11. 1964 were approved <br />as amended. <br /> <br />Pure Oil Station <br />Clerk Lorraine stromquist read a letter, dated May 22, 19ti4, from <br />H. W. Dahl, ~aintenance Supt. for Pure Oil Co., which outlined <br />proposed changes for the station located at County Hoad D and <br />Johanna Blvd. This station was formerly 8 Standard Oil Station. <br />Changes requested are for two larger capacity underground gas stor~ <br />age tanks,new island for two twin pumps and a double light, new <br />approaches and painting of the station. <br /> <br />Mr. Becker, Pure Oil representative, Was present Bnd explained the <br />changes. <br /> <br />Trustee Olmen moved approval of the changes subject to the approval <br />of the Fire MarBhall Bnd the Village Building Inspector. seconded <br />by Clerk Lnrraine Stromquist; motion carried. <br /> <br />Complaint - ~posed Gas ~ank <br />Mr. and Mrs. Keith Ewy, 1176 C"rlton Drive, were present and informed <br />the Council of the insta11gtion of a tank across the street from their <br />home. This tank is used for heating a private swi ming pool and i8 <br />located at the top of a bank where it is easily seen and is unattract~ <br />ive. Mr. ~wy explained to the -Council that it is a hszard as it <br />could easily be pushed off ita inadequate footings and explOde. The <br />Police Dept. and the Fire 0hief agreed that it is a hazard and a <br />nuisance. <br /> <br />Trustee Crepeau and Lt. Pat Sexton agreed to talk with ~r. Wilsey <br />about the matter before any further aotion. <br /> <br />hhPOhT OF ATTY. COURTNEY <br /> <br />Security for Village Bank Deposits <br />Atty. Courtney and Treas. Worth Read agleed that the deposit~ies <br />and the pledged securities for Villl1ge deposits al'e adequate, aa <br />required by the Statues. Trustee Nethercut moved the approval of <br />a resolution, as attacl)ed. approving the collatej'al to be pledged <br />by the F'irst ~ational liank of St. Paul and the First State Bank of <br />New Brighton and the placed for deposits; seconded by ~lerk Lon'aine <br />Stromquist; motion carried. <br /> <br />.
