Krannak, owner of thirteen lots in Shorewood Hills No.8, <br />which is located at the end of Oak Avenue, reluested that excess <br />dirt fl'o~ the [.l'8ding of Oak Avenue be placed on his property. <br />He stated that he felt he Was entitled to this as he is payine a con~ <br />siderable assessaant for this Lnprovement. Sho.'eline Lane, ai;peal'ed as representative for <br />nice rasidents on Shol'e11ne Lane. He informed the Gouneil that a <br />resident on County hoad 1), W('st o.f Le ,ington Ave., has three vehicles <br />which he pa~ks on both sides of the street, creatLng a conr-ested and <br />hazardous condition at thisintersect10n. <br /> <br />Matter referred to the 1'olice lJevartl,.ent. <br /> <br />Control Data Draina~ <br />Engineer Rogel' shor1;-;-Bpnister J::ngineering Co.. presented plans <br />to control the drainage from Control Data. He informed the Council <br />that he had subm1tted the plans to Control vata e8rly this year <br />as reQuested by the Couleil. These plans specif1ed a storm sewer <br />to be construoted a~ong the proposed Fernwood Avenue, which was to <br />be built by Control Uata and then dedicated to the Village. !loV/ever" <br />Control Vata hes started construction of p'ernwood Ave. and has <br />completed the curbs and gutters without the storm sewel'. Control <br />Uata informed i.l!'. Short that dUe. to the expense of suoh a project" <br />they decided to eliminate the storm se:ler and that this would be <br />installed by the Village after dedication and when necessary. They <br />stated that they felt the cost should be borne by All of the abutt- <br />ing property owners. ;,;ayor Kennedy stated that, in his opinion, <br />Control Data created the pro"llem so should bear all the costo <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />Mr. Short stated that possiuly the Village should recu~st the County <br />to tnlarge the culvert under County hood 1". <br /> <br />II[r. Short presented IJn alternate plan which would cause the drainage <br />to flow into a swamp owned by Control Data, this would then become <br />their problem, and would not flow on a Village stre"t. <br /> <br />Mr. S. J.
