<br />. <br />. <br /> <br /> <br />Council Meeting Minutes - October 9, 1967 - continued <br /> <br /> <br />Page four <br /> <br /> <br />Water Stub Locations <br />Clerk Lorraine Stromquist reported that Engineer Hendrickson <br />would like lotters sent to home owners on certain streets In Water <br />improvement 67-1 requesting their desire for the location of water <br />connections and also a similar request to owners of property along <br />. County Road E and Connelly Avenue. Engineer Hendrickson will contact <br />the larger concerns. The Council agreed to this request and referred <br />the matter to Clerk Lorraine Stromquist. <br /> <br />Election Boards <br />Clerk Lorraine Stromquist submitted proposed electIon boards for <br />Precincts I and 2, five people on each board, for the forthcoming <br />annual village election. Trust...e Hol ionhocst mo.,ec:l, seconded by <br />Trustee Crepeau, the Boards be approyed as submItted and attached; <br />motion carried, <br /> <br />VilJaqe Audit <br />Trustee Crepeau moved, as recomm8nded Dy the Finance Committee, that <br />the George M.Hansen Co. perform an audit on the 1967 VIllage Accounts, <br />fee not to exceed $1,200.00; seconded by Trustee Hoilenhorstj motion <br />carried. <br /> <br />Oak Wi It Survey <br />Clerk Lorraine Stromquist informed the Council that two copies of <br />the result of the Oak Wilt Survey have been received from Dr. French. <br />A total of 493 Red Oaks were marked on 43 lots, but no Dutch Elm <br />disease was noticed. Matter referred to Trustee Bjorndahl. <br />, <br /> <br />Christmas Tree Sales <br />Trustee Hollenhorst moved, seconded by Trustee Olmen, that Mr, and <br />Mrs. Raymond Stolp, 3235 North Lexington Avenue, be allowed to sell <br />Christmas trees from this property during the month of December 1967; <br />motion carried. Signatures from surrounding residents has been sub- <br />mitted approving this business. <br /> <br />Condemnation Matter - 3155 Johanna Blvd. <br />Howard W. Schultz, 3180 New Brighton Road, who is purchasing on <br />contract for deed, the property at 3155 Johanna Blvd., expressed <br />displeasure at the method of being served the condemnation notice <br />and also disagreed with the reasons for this proceed!~g. <br /> <br />Mayor Nethercut requested Mr. Schuttz to confer with Village Attorney <br />Vincent P, Courtney. <br /> <br />Adiournment <br />Meeting adjourned at 10:00 p.m. <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />. <br />~ ~~~ .
