No action taken at this time. <br /> <br />Police Officer Resigna!l2n <br />Trus1"ee Crepeau Informed the Council that James LaValle has resigned <br />from the pollee force as of August 19, 1967. <br /> <br />Bgdent Complaints <br />Clerk Lorraine Stromquist reported that numerous complaints have <br />been received concerning rats In the Cleveland and County Road 0 area. <br />Matter referred to the Health Officer llnd Police Department. <br /> <br />Mrs. Monte Arhart, 2014 Glenpaul Avenue, WllS the most recent <br />complainant. She reported tha1" a large rat hlld bi1"1"en their dog; <br />her husbllnd killed the rat. Officer Sexton was called In and referred <br />the matter to the B. and E. Patrol. No report has been receIved to <br />date. Mat1"er referred to Helllth Officer, Dr. Farkas. <br /> <br />Clerk Lorraine Stromquist has a list of complalnllnts concerning <br />this problem; Sergellnt Sexton felt the rats were comIng from the <br />pig farm, and not from the dog kennel which many suspected. He hlld <br />checked the kennel and found It very clean.
