Read, Building Inspector Clay Ke! ley, <br />Administrative Clerk Lorraine Stromquist and Deputy <br />Clerk Florence Honan. <br /> <br />BUSINESS FROM THE FLOOR <br /> <br />~equest of Extension of Culvert <br />~r. and Mrs. Bi I I Krueger, who are bui iding a home at 3510 <br />Ridgewood Road, requested that the drainage culvert in front of <br />their house be extended past the house to eliminate a high bank <br />from the house to 1-he road. <br /> <br />Mayor Nethercu1- stated that he had an oral repor1- from Engineer <br />Lund on the matter. Engineer Lund believes this is not a <br />Village responsibiiity; he feeis the problem should be solved <br />by the individual property owner. He also stated this is not <br />similar to the Larson-Schacker problem as Mr. Krueger believes. <br /> <br />Trus1-ee Olmen informed Mr. Krueger that the Larson-Schacker <br />problem was a result of a Vi Ilage road improvement. He stated <br />he would have to look at the site before making any recommenda- <br />tions. Matter referred to Trustee Olmen who wii I check with <br />Engineer Lund regarding his opinion. Mr. Krueger felt -rhat <br />EngIneer Lund had reversed his opinion since he had talked with <br />him and vii! I con-raci- him again. <br /> <br />REPORT OF ATTORNEY COURTNEY <br /> <br />. He also <br />presented a notice of -rhe publ ie hearing. He in.iormed the Counci I <br />that Ramsey County has indica-red tha1 it ,Iii I participato finan-- <br />cially in the project. Trustee Bjorndahl stated that Ramsey <br />County Engineer Daane Anklan had checked the site and stated that <br />the County would pay their fair share. <br /> <br />As recommendad bv Attorney Courtney, Trustee Bjorndahl moved the <br />adopt-ion of B-r3solu-i-ion app'"oving preliminary report of engineers <br />ilnd pl-oviding fo,- publ ic hearing on Lake .Josephine Drainage <br />Ditch; seconded by Trustoe Olmen; motion carried. <br /> <br />'- <br /> <br />The Resolution sf-cltes -rha-;- the publ ic hearing wi' I be held at <br />8:00 p.m. on Sep-I-ember Ii, 1967 in -i-he Village Hall, and the Clerk <br />shall give ;'laiied Clnd published notice of such hearing as Is re- <br />qL:tred by law.
