Courtney, VII lase Treasurer <br />Worth G. Read, Administrative Clerk lorraine Strpmquist and <br />Deputy Clerk Florence M. Honan. i <br />Approval of Minutes I <br />The minutes of the Regular Council Meeting of 15 March 196p were <br />approved as amended. I <br /> <br />Valentine lake View Plat -(Case No. 67-2) <br />Public Hearing was held on the preliminary plat which was <br />Dale Hendrickson, which had been reviewed by the Planning <br />Trustee Hollenhorst Informed the Council that the Planning <br />had recommended approval subject to the Village Engineer's <br />the placement of the cul-de-sac to service an adJoining pi <br />since Mr. Henorlckson was not able to obtain consent from <br />Attorney Courtney suggested that Mr. Hendrickson check the <br />ordinance whiCh Is to be considered for final reading tonl <br /> <br />resented by <br />ommlsslon. <br />Commission <br />approva I and <br />ce of property, <br />he owner. <br />new platting <br />ht. <br /> <br />Trustee BJorndahl moved approval of the preliminary plat 0 Valentine <br />lake View SUbJect to formal approval by the Village Engine r and also a <br />legal Check by the Village Attorney; seconded by Trustee 0 men; motion <br />carrIed. I <br /> <br />Business From the Floor <br />None. <br /> <br />Starr-Elbner Proposed Plat j <br />Clerk lorralne Stromquist read a sanitary sewer feaslbilit report, dated <br />27 March 1967, on the proposed five-lot Starr-Elbner plat; lot 5 could be <br />serviced by the existing line along the lakeshore, an exte slon of this <br />line could also serve lots 3 and 4. An additional 400' ex~enslon of thIs <br />line could possibly service Lot 2, depending on soil struc~ure, but would <br />be costly; he did not believe It would be feasible to servllce lot I from <br />the existing sewer line. Included In this letter was the pportlonment <br />of assessments. Attorney Courtney stated his belief that It Is the re- <br />sponsibility of the subdivider to provide sewer facilities. <br /> <br />Trustee Hollenhorst recommended that soil tests be taken t see If lot I <br />could ba serviced by cesspool. Trustae BJorndahl suggested setting the <br />date of the public hearing and study the matter In the meantime. <br /> <br />Trustee Hollenhorst moved that the public hearing on this plat be set for <br />24 April 1967 at 8:00 p.m., authorIzed Attorney Courtney to prepare the <br />notice of hearIng and cause Its publication; motion carrled~ <br /> <br />Miss Starr Inquired If the adjacent property would still be~zoned single <br />family according to tha proposed new zoning ordinance and w s Informed by <br />Mayor Nethercut that It will remain R-I, but there Is alway the possibil- <br />Ity of a petition for other zoning. <br /> <br />REPORT OF ATTORNEY COURTNEY <br /> <br />Helman Matter <br />Attorney reported that there are several discrepancies In t <br />the Village purchase of this property.
