MINUTES DF REGULAR COUNCil MEETING Village of Arden Hills Monday - 27 March 1967 - 8:00 p.m. I Call to Order I MeetIng was called to order by Mayor Nethercut at 8:00 P'1' Roll Call Present - Mayor Nethercut, Trustees Hollenhorst, Crepeau, limen and BJorndahl. Absent - None. , Also Present - Village Attorney Vincent P. Courtney, VII lase Treasurer Worth G. Read, Administrative Clerk lorraine Strpmquist and Deputy Clerk Florence M. Honan. i Approval of Minutes I The minutes of the Regular Council Meeting of 15 March 196p were approved as amended. Starr-Elbner Proposed Plat j Clerk lorralne Stromquist read a sanitary sewer feaslbilit report, dated 27 March 1967, on the proposed five-lot Starr-Elbner plat; lot 5 could be serviced by the existing line along the lakeshore, an exte slon of this line could also serve lots 3 and 4. An additional 400' ex~enslon of thIs line could possibly service Lot 2, depending on soil struc~ure, but would be costly; he did not believe It would be feasible to servllce lot I from the existing sewer line. Included In this letter was the pportlonment of assessments. Attorney Courtney stated his belief that It Is the re- sponsibility of the subdivider to provide sewer facilities. Trustee Hollenhorst recommended that soil tests be taken t see If lot I could ba serviced by cesspool. Trustae BJorndahl suggested setting the date of the public hearing and study the matter In the meantime. Trustee Hollenhorst moved that the public hearing on this plat be set for 24 April 1967 at 8:00 p.m., authorIzed Attorney Courtney to prepare the notice of hearIng and cause Its publication; motion carrled~ Miss Starr Inquired If the adjacent property would still be~zoned single family according to tha proposed new zoning ordinance and w s Informed by Mayor Nethercut that It will remain R-I, but there Is alway the possibil- Ity of a petition for other zoning.
