<br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> <br />COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br /> <br />VILLAGE OF ARDEN HILLS <br /> <br />RESOLUTION RE ACQUISITION OF NECESSARY <br />PROPERTY FOR WIDENING OF RED FOX ROAD. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Village of Arden Hills desires to have Ramsey County <br /> <br />accept as a county road that road in Arden Hills known as Red Fox Road, <br /> <br />located in Section 27, Township 30, Range 33, and being parallel to <br /> <br />County Road E on the north thereof, and located between Lexington Avenue <br /> <br />and State Trunk Highway 51, and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Ramsey County and particularly the office of the Ramsey <br /> <br />County Engineer has advised Arden Hills of certain requirements that must <br /> <br />e met with respect to widening Red Fox Road before it could be accepted <br /> <br />by the County, and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Arden Hills has now obtained easements for the necessary <br /> <br />expansion of Red Fox Road and has duly advised the office of the Ramsey <br /> <br />County Engineer thereof by letter dated December 29, 1966, with the <br /> <br />exception of a certain seven (7) foot strip hereinafter referred to, and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Arden Hills is willing to obtain the necessary highway <br /> <br />easement over said seven (7) foot strip, whether by purchase or condemnation, <br /> <br />when the same may be desired by Ramsey County and is requested of Arden <br /> <br />Hills by Ramsey County, which acquisition shall be at the expense of <br /> <br />Arden Hills, all to the end that Red Fox Road may now be accepted as a <br /> <br />county road, <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that Arden Hills does hereby agree that <br /> <br />upon the request by Ramsey County to Arden Hills Arden Hills will, at its <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />own expense, by purchase, condemnation or otherwise, acquire an easement <br /> <br />for highway purposes over and across the following-described property <br /> <br />in Arden Hills, to-wit: <br /> <br />-1- <br />
