Joseph McKeon, 1871 <br />County Road D, regarding the operation of this service station. <br />Letter referred to Attorney Courtney, who wi I I return it to the <br />clerk. <br /> <br />~~L?':!..L!.!:Ll!ill. - 1440 H i gh~lay 96 <br />Council requested Building Inspector Clay Kel ley to check the con- <br />struction of this bui iding as to general construction and as to <br />safety. <br /> <br />REPORT OF ENGINEER DONALD LUND <br /> <br />I~L~_~l!~Trai ler Park Sewage Dis~~~ <br />Engineer Lund informed the counci I that he wi II submit a written <br />report on this matter. <br /> <br />Counci I agreed with the recommendation of Engineer Lund that the <br />Trai ler Park be charged $;'00 for each load of raw sewage disposed <br />of through the Arden Hil Is sewage system. Clerk requested to so <br />Inform James Adams, owner of the park, and request him to submit <br />a monthly statement of the number of loads. <br /> <br />Mayor Bjorndahl stated that this is a temporary arrangement for <br />about two to three weeks, according to Mr. Adams. <br /> <br />Be!~~Co!l~~St~t~~_of_~~t~~~~~lS~ <br />Engineer Lund reported that the waiver of the public hearing for <br />Water Improvement 67-1, was sent to Bethel Col lege two weeks ago; <br />it has not been returned as of this date. <br /> <br />Engineer Lund informed the councl I this matter would be submitted <br />to the counci I as a change order. <br /> <br />w a!~!:....!.!!!.e.~'!!.~~!. 67- 1 <br />Letter dated June 12, 1968, from McDonald & Associates requesting <br />a waiver of the completion date of June I, 1968 for this improve- <br />ment, because of the weather conditions. <br /> <br />Engineer Lund expressed his opinion that this project could have <br />been completed, and recommended the vi llage send a letter of denial <br />of the request and suggest immediate action for completion of the <br />project or the vi Ilage wi II consider imposing the penalty of <br />$100.00 per day beginning June 1, 1968. <br /> <br />Counci I requested Clerk Lorraine Stromquist to draft a letter to <br />McDonald and ^ssociates, incorporating Engineer Lund's recommendations. <br /> <br />Sewer Connection - Bethel Caretaker's Residence <br />Engrneer-cu~submltted a letter, dated June 24, 1968 to the <br />Council In which he reported that d is economically unfeasible <br />at this tl~e to connect the property to our sewor system. The <br />present facilities are adequate and he is not aware of any health <br />problems. <br /> <br />~~!.he!._~~U.~9.~ - Proposed \~ater Heters <br />Engineer Lund requested council consideration of the method of <br />metering the proposed water for the Bethel College service. He <br />explained that a master metor could be placed at the property line <br />or indivldulll meters could be placed at each building.
