Jurgenson. <br />He stated that last year when the water main went through, mounds <br />of dirt wore never level led - last week at least three driveways <br />in the area were resurfaced by Diamond T Asphalt Co., who deposited <br />the old paving In the ponding area. Mr. Nelson recommends that <br />the Diamond T Asphalt Co. be cal led and requested to remove this <br />material and also the clay which was deposited last year be levelled <br />as this could be a beautiful pond. <br /> <br />Mayor Bjorndahl stated that the vIllage is interested in this pond <br />for drainage purposes that Mr. Jurgenson would like to build on some <br />of these lots; Mayor BJorndahl hopes an agreement will be arrived <br />at in the near future between St. Paul Bible College and Mr. Jurgenson. <br />Matter referred to Engineer Lund. <br /> <br />Clerk Lorraine Stromquist informed the council that letters of com- <br />plaint on this same problem haVe been received from W. G. Haberstroh, <br />1201 Ti Iler Lane, postmarked June 21, 1968, and from Mr. and Mrs. <br />Matteson, 1249 Tiller Lane, ietter dated June 20, 1968. <br /> <br />REPORT OF ATTORNEY COURTNEY <br /> <br />~~cl~~~_~~quest - Dog Ordinance <br />Attorney Courtney reported that he will give further study to the <br />request of Dr. Frankson, 1369 Forest Lane, for temporary approval <br />to kennel more than two dogs. <br /> <br />~t:ARC _E.~rt IS.lllii on <br />V i I I age rece i ve d a letter, dated June 24, 1968 f rom Attorney Joseph <br />Sal land regarding this matter. Attorney Courtney felt that Arden <br />Hills should have a written agreement with the Rosevli Ie Recreation <br />Department and also inquire about insurance coverage. Matter <br />referred to Clerk Lorraine Stromquist. <br /> <br />~ullding Code Amendment <br />Attorney Courtney informed the Counci I that he wi I I have a report <br />on this at the next council meeting. <br /> <br />SchL~~ Property <br />Attorney Courtney reported that he and Carl Dale met with Mr. Schlfsky <br />on June 13, 1968; Mr. Dale is to submit suggestions to the Planning <br />Commission and the three wi II meet again after this commission <br />meeting. <br /> <br />f!ew ~LL9.!!.ton Road - Proposed Change <br />Counci I requested Engineor Lund to pursue with Ramsey County the <br />matter of diverting New Brighton Road to Johanna Blvd. at Glenpaul <br />Avenue. <br /> <br />~pllcation Foe Fed~al_~unds for Water Improvement 68-2 & 68-3 <br />HUD preliminary forms have been received and completed by Banister <br />Engineering Company; an additional statement to be included in the <br />application was given to ~ttorney Courtney for his opinion. A <br />copy of this application has been sent to the Metro Council. <br />Attorney Courtney stated that the additional paragraph was fine, <br />and'perhaps could be sent as a letter attachment ~ the application. <br />The application wi II be mai led to the HUD office In Chicago as <br />soon as Metro Co~nci I and local Planning Commission action has <br />been taken on the matter. <br /> <br />Q.i'.~_~::!!.ck.~c if i ~at l.9.~~ <br />Specifications for a new dump truck were referred to Attorney <br />Courtney. There was some discussion regarding the type of sander <br />to purchase sInce comp~aints have been received about salt damage <br />to lawns. Mr. E.
