Courtney, Village <br />Engineer Donald Lund, Bui Iding lnspector Clay Kelley, <br />Maintenance Supervisor E. Beecher, Administrative <br />Clerk Lorraine Stromquist and Deputy Clerk Florence <br />Honan. <br /> <br />Approval of Minutes <br />The minutes of the Regular Counci I meeting of May 27, 1967, were <br />approved as submitted. <br /> <br />BUSINESS FROM THE FLOOR <br /> <br />... <br /> <br />Twin City Trailer Park - Sewaqe Problem <br />Mr. Adams, owner of the Twin City Trailer Park, was present; he <br />explained their sewage disposition problem. <br /> <br />Engineer Lund stated that Mr. Adam's request to haul 4,000 - 8,000 <br />gal Ions of raw sewage per day (not from a septic tank) to an Arden <br />Hills manhole is feasible; the sewage would then be processed <br />through the municipal system. Discussion fol lowed concerning the <br />amount of fee to be charged for this project to cover the cost of <br />expenses, such as inspections, etc. <br /> <br />Mr. Adams agreed to pay the fee when determined by the council. <br />Council approved Mr. Adams' request, subject to Mr. Adams paying the <br />fee when determined, and requested Engineer Lund to determine which <br />manhole is to be used to eliminate the sewage from going through <br />a lift station. <br /> <br />~ Ordinance - Variance Request <br />Dr. Frankson, 1377 Forest Lane, requested permission to keep four <br />dogs, two more than al lowed by vii iage ordinance, until sometime <br />next year when he intends to build a new home on 13 acres he has <br />purchased. Councilman Crepeau moved, seconded by Councilman Olmen, <br />that Dr. Frankson's request be referred to Atty. Courtney; motion <br />carried. <br /> <br />REPORT OF ATTORNEY COURTNEY <br /> <br />-. <br />. <br /> <br />Lake Johanna Drainage Matter <br />Councilman Crepeau moved, seconded by Councilman Henderson, the <br />adoption of a Resolution, as attached, authorizing the vi I lage <br />attorney to draw up an Agreement between Arden Hil Is and Ramsey <br />County; moved approval of the Agreement, as attached, regarding <br />assessments against Ramsey County for the improvement of the Lake <br />Johanna drainage area and authorizing the mayor and clerk to sign <br />same; motion carried. <br /> <br />Ordinance No. 106, Personnel Amendment <br />Councilman Hol lenhorst moved the third and final reading be given <br />and an Ordinance be adopted amending Ordinance No. 83, regarding <br />personnel administration, changing sick leave provisions, permitting <br />discretionary sick leave and authorizing payment of health insur- <br />ance benefits; seconded by Counci to'; n fjenderson; mOTion carried. <br /> <br />Village Employees' Health Insurance <br />Attorney Courtney submitted a draft of a <br />health insurance for vi I lage employees. <br />clerk to request Mr. Stanton's opinion. <br /> <br />Resolution regarding <br />Matter referred to the <br /> <br />- 1 - <br />
