Courtney to prepare a sales contr.act. <br />Council requested the Public \.iorks Committoe to prepare specifications <br />for a truck with a snow plow; the proposed sander attachment to be <br />eliminated because of the purchase of Unit No.6. <br /> <br />'REPORT OF ADMINISTRATIVE CLERK LORRAINE STROMOUIST <br /> <br />.Slqn Ordinance <br />Clerk Lorraine Stromquist reported that many of the signs in the village <br />ere stili not licensed. The owners have been contacted several times, <br />but this has not been effective. The Finance Committee is considering <br />the matter of a penalty charge for late applications. <br /> <br />Mayor BJorndahl requested the Clerk to notify the owners by letter <br />that if I icenses and permits are not obtained by Aprl I 22, 1968, the <br />O,-d I nance w I II be enforced. <br /> <br />Dog Ordinance <br />Harold Nelson, 1212 Ti ller Lane, requested the vi I lage be patrolled for <br />dogs at large; he suggested that this be done a s~ecified number of <br />hours per day and also notification of the Ordinance published in the <br />pape rs . <br />Matter referred to Counei Iman Crepeau. <br /> <br />Clerk Lorraine Stromquist informed the counc! I that many dog owners <br />have not licensed their dogs this year, although the dead line Is <br />January I. Mayor directed the Clerk to send letters to the dog owners <br />shlting that unless the I !cense is obtained by Apri I 22, 1968. the <br />Ordinance gill be enforced. <br /> <br />Speed Limit SiRn Requests <br />Clerk requested to comply with the request of Robt. Busch, 1909 Stowe <br />Avenue, to contact Ramsey County for the posting of signs limiting the <br />speed as low as possible on Stowe Avenue. <br /> <br />Mayor BJorndahl requested the Clerk to also request a lower speed <br />limit be posted on Lexington Avenue and County Road D; the school busses <br />use this area as a turn around and a dangerous condition exists. <br /> <br />Reapportionment Resolution <br />Councilman Olmen introduced and moved the adoption of a Resolution, as <br />attached, relating to apportionment of assessments relating to Sanitary <br />Sewer Jmprovement No.2; seconded by Counci Iman Henderson; motion <br />carried. \ <br /> <br />Claims <br />Councilman Hol lenhorst moved approval and payment of the claims, as <br />.-rosen-red by Clerk Lorraine Stromquist and attached; seconded by Council- <br />an Olmen; motion carried. <br />, <br /> <br />Ad.iournment <br />Meeting adjourned at 11:00 p.m. <br /> <br />- <br /> <br /> <br />-fdL <br /> <br />nd<:Jhf <br /> <br />~$ <br /> <br />Lorraine Stromquist <br />Administrative Clerk <br />
