Mayor BJorndahl reported that residents are coop- <br />erating nicely, the greater maJority of the trees have been removed. <br /> <br />, <br /> <br />Sports Arena MeetlnQ <br />Mr. G. Buetow advised Mayor Bjorndahl that a meeting concerning the <br />recently proposed Sports Arean will be held March 14, 1968 at the <br />Mounds View Village Hall. All Interested parties are encouraged <br />to attend. <br /> <br />REPORT OF ADMINISTRATIVE CLERK STROMQUIST <br /> <br />Carlton Drive Water Petition <br />Clerk Stromquist presented a petition for water from residents on <br />Carlton Drive. Council requested the Clerk to write Mr. Keith Ewy <br />giving him the boundaries of the area development which Includes <br />Carlton DrIve, and request that areas larger than one street petitIon <br />for water. If possible. <br /> <br />Pakoy Variance - Case No. 68-2 <br />Mr. Eugene Pakoy's varIance request for an oversize garage was discussed. <br />Administrative Clerk Stromquist read the Board of Appeals recommenda- <br />tions for denial, dated 2-5-68. Councilman Crepeau moved conCUrrence <br />with the Board of Appeals recommendation to deny the variance request. <br />Seconded by Councilman Olmen, carried. The Council suggested that <br />Mr. Pakoy work out revised plans acceptable to the Board of Appeals. <br /> <br />Councilman Henderson moved that the Planning CommlsslQn <br />Uniform Building Code section relating to garage size. <br />Councilman Crepeau, carried. <br /> <br />Metro-Salary Survey Meeting <br />AdminIstrative Clerk Stromquist reported on the Minnesota League- <br />Metro SectIon meeting of March I, 1968. The salary survey and report <br />should be completed by July I, 1968.
