. , Regular Council Minutes -2- Jan. a, 196a REPORT OF ENGINEER LUND Sewer Connection - 1600 Oak Avenue Engineer Lund reported that this connection will have to be made to the street, since the service cannot be located. The Council agreed with Mayor Bjorndahl that since this is the village's responsibility this additional cost should be paid by the village. No cost estimate is available at this time. REPORT OF COUNCIIJ.1AN HOLLENHORST - Planning & Zoning '" None REPORT OF COUNCILMAN CREPEAU - Public Safety Complaints Councilman Crepeau reported that he had met with George Salitros, 3625 lIamline Avenue, and his attorney concerning complaints by Mr. Salitros of possible Ordinance violations. Councilman Crepeau believes most of the problems have been satisfactorily solved. Quarterly Law Enforcement Luncheon Councilman Crepeau informed the Council of a letter, dated December 20, 1967, from the office of the Provost Marshall about this luncheon to be held at Fort Snelling on January 24, 196a. REPORT OF COUNCILMAN HENDERSON - Finance None REPORT OF COUNCILMAN OLMEN - Public Works Public Works Committee Report Copies of the minutes of this meeting had been distributed to the Council. After Council discussion of the matter, Counci~an olmen moved approval of "Table AU, as submitted by the Committee and attached, This table is a standby and use rate schedule for the six vehicles owned by Fred Nixon. Truck No. 12 is to be added to the schedule at the same use rate; the standby rate for this additional truck is to be determined hy Councilman Olmen. The rates to be retro- active to January 1, 196B. The difference between the amount paid under the previous rental rate schedule and amount which would have been paid under Table A from June 1, 1967 through December 31, 1967 is to be figured for all vehicles listed, which had limited use during that period. If the amount is higher by using Table ~, the am01mt: is to be paid to Mr. Nixon. ~1otion seconded by CouncJ..lman Hollenhorst; motion carried. .. REPORT OF MAYOR BJOR.'lDAlIL - Parks and Recreation Lake Region Hockey Association Mayor Bjorndah} received a request fr~m the Lake Region lIockey Assn. for use of the County Road E hockey r1nk on Mcnuays arid Wednesdays from 6:00 to 8:30 p.m. and on Saturdays and Sundays from 2:00 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. He stated there is a conflict on the week end hours which will have to he adjusted.
