<br />ARDEN HILLS REGULAR CITY COUNCIL MEETING MINUTES <br />JUNE 27, 2005 <br /> <br />9 <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />MOTION: Councilmember Holden moved and Councilmember Larson seconded a motion to <br />amend the general fund budget in the amount of$2,157.50. The motion carried (3- <br />1) (Councilmember Grant opposed). <br /> <br />MOTION: Councilmember Larson moved and Councilmember Holden seconded a motion to <br />approve the purchase of a Canon Image Runner 8070 from Canon USA at a quoted <br />price of $27,157.50 and return the leased copier. The motion carried unanimously <br />(3-1) (Councilmember Grant opposed). <br /> <br />D. Approve Resolution 05-43 Grev Fox Curve Variance for the 2005 PMP Proiect <br /> <br />Mr. Brown stated MnDOT had requested the City obtain a variance for thc horizontal curve at the <br />west end of Grey Fox Road in order to be eligible for State Aid funding. The proposed curve will <br />match thc existing curve. He recommended the Council pass the variance for Grey Fox Road. <br /> <br />MOTION: Councilmember Larson moved and Coullcilmember Holden seconded a motion to <br />adopt Resolution 05-43 Requesting a Variance from Minnesota Rules for State Aid <br />Operations Chapter 8820. The motion carried unanimously (4-0). <br /> <br />E. <br /> <br />Approve Resolution 05-41 ADPointinl!: Arden Hills Resident and Citv Council <br />Member to the Northwest Areas Librarv Access Task Force <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />Ms. Wolfe stated the Ramsey County Library Board had created a Northwest Area Library Access <br />Task Force. This group would be studying and evaluating services in the northwest portion ofthe <br />County. Each of the three cities involved was being asked to name representativcs to the task <br />force. Shc indicated Mayor Aplikowski was recommending tl1e appointment of Mary Anne <br />Lindberg as the representative to the committec. <br /> <br />MOTION: Councilmember Grant moved and CounciImembcr Larson seconded a motion to <br />adopt Resolution 05-41 A Resolution Appointing Members to the 2005 Northwest <br />Areas Library Access Task Force. The motion carried unanimously (4-0). <br /> <br />Ms. Wolfe stated there were also two additional seats available that the Library Task Force would <br />be assigning and if anyonc was interested, they could pick up an application at the library. <br /> <br />F. f"JlJlflY/e the aJlJlointment of JoseJlh Bianeo as OJlcrations and Maintenance Worker <br />for the Citv of Arden Hills REMOVED FROM THE AGENDA <br /> <br />7.
