<br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />ARDEN HILLS REGULAR CITY COUNCIL MEETING MINUTES <br />SEPTEMBER 26, 2005 <br /> <br />2 <br /> <br />MOTION: Councilmember Larson moved and Councilmember Grant seconded <br />a motion to approve the September 7, 2005 City of Arden Hills and <br />GSA Meeting as amended, and the June 29, 2005 Special City <br />Council Mecting Minutes as amended. The motion carried <br />unanimously (4-0). <br /> <br />3. CONSENT CALENDAR <br /> <br />a. Claims and Payroll <br />b. 2005 Red Fox-Grey Fox PMP Project Partial Payment #2 to Arnt Construction <br />e. Resolution 05-56: Approval of MnDOT Agreement No. 88611 approving the <br />maintenance and operation of a detention pond by the City of Arden Hills along <br />Trunk Highway 51 <br />d. Resolution 05-57: Declaring a State of Emergency for the City of Arden Hills due <br />to the severe thunderstorms on September 21 <br />e. Accept Donation of $15,000 from the Shoreview Area Youth Baseball Association <br />and Authorize Improvements at Perry Park Field #4 <br /> <br />MOTION: Councilmember Grant moved and Couneilmember Larson seconded <br />a motion to approve the Consent Calendar and to authorize <br />execution of all necessary documents contained therein. The motion <br />carried unanimously (4-0). <br /> <br />4. PUBLIC INQUIRIES/INFORMATIONAL <br /> <br />A. Update on City Storm damage <br /> <br />Mr. Moore updated Council on the events leading up to and after the sever thunderstorm on <br />September 21, 2005. <br /> <br />Mayor Aplikowski thanked staff for their efforts and hard work. She indicated the City had <br />declared a state of emergency in Arden Hills due to the storm. She thanked the residents who <br />helped their neighbors out this past week. <br /> <br />Ms. Wolfe thanked the Operations and Maintenance staff and all of the employees who assisted. <br /> <br />Councilmember Larson also thanked staff for all of their hard work. He thanks New Brighton <br />for their willingness to take the tree refuse. <br /> <br />Councilmember Grant also commended staff for their efforts. <br />
