Design Standards – Section 1325.045 Multi-family Dwelling Units Additional <br />Conditional Use Permit Criteria <br /> <br />A. Minimum Unit Size – Meets Requirements <br />The City Code sets minimum unit size based on the type of unit within the multi-family dwelling. <br />The Applicant is proposing one- and two-bedroom units. One-bedroom units must be a minimum <br />of 700 square feet and two- bedroom units must be a minimum of 950 square feet. <br /> <br />The Applicant is proposing a minimum unit size of 800 square feet for one-bedroom units and 975 <br />square feet for two-bedroom units. <br /> <br />B. Security Plan – For Review <br />The Applicant has detailed a security plan in their narrative. Security will include surveillance <br />cameras in common areas, exterior areas, surface lots, and underground garages. Controlled access <br />will be used for entrances into the building. Exterior portions of the site will be illuminated through <br />the fixtures shown on the lighting plan. <br /> <br />C. Lighting Plan – Meets Requirements <br />Lighting was reviewed above and met the standards within Section 1325.05. <br /> <br />D. Parking – Meets Requirements <br />A minimum of one enclosed parking stall shall be provided per dwelling unit. Enclosed parking <br />structures shall be attached to at least one of the principal structures to which parking is provided. <br /> <br />Parking was reviewed above and the plans appear to meet the requirements established in the City <br />Code. <br /> <br />E. Common Area – Meets Requirements <br />Common area devoted to recreation or leisure activities shall be provided. Common area must <br />include a combination of both indoor and outdoor space. <br />
