Zehm. <br /> Approval of MInutes <br /> The Minutes of the Regula~ Council meeting of November 30, 1970 <br /> were approved as submitted. <br /> Proposed Ord I nance Re Proh I bit I,ng the Sa I e of Certa I n Non-returnab Ie <br /> or Disposable Beverage Containers <br /> Mr. Robert Tagtow, 1737 Crystal Ave. , recommended passage by the <br /> Village of an ordinance prohibiting the sale of non-returnable <br /> or disposable beverage contalnersJ stating that he favors legislation <br /> banning the purchase of non-returnable over the other' alternatives <br /> to re-cycle them or to request buying of returnable containers. <br /> Mr. Joe Bussard, 4335 N. Hlghway 10, recOmmended passage as ~ <br /> State law rather than as a Village ordinance. <br /> , <br /> After review of the sample ordinance, submitted by Mr, Tagtow, <br /> the matter was referred to the Ordinance Review Committee, the <br /> Planning Commission 'and the Arden Hills Jaycees for their recom- <br /> mendation to the Council. <br /> BUSINESS FROM THE FLOOR <br /> None. <br /> REPORT OF VILLAGE ATTORNEY VINCENT p. COURTNEY <br /> , Liquor License Renewals <br /> " Attorney Courtney advised the Council of a few minor corrections <br /> to be made on the four liquor applications submitted to him for <br /> review. He advised that the Surety Bond for On-Sale Liquor for <br /> the Big Ten Supper Club has not been received to date, and th Is <br /> license should be withheld until the bond Is received and'revlewed. <br /> It was moved by Councilman Herrick that the liquor licenses as <br /> listed below, be approved as recommended by Attorney Courtney, <br /> withholding the Big Ten Supper Club On-Sale Liquor License until <br /> the Surety Bond Is received in proper form: <br /> McGuire's Enterprises, 'nc. <br /> 1201 W.
