He advised that the project will not be accepted until <br />the clean-up is deemed satisfactory by Banister Engineering Company. <br /> <br />Several residents spoke, citing their grievances. which Engineer <br />Lund noted. He advised that he will Investigate the situation <br />and see that unacceptable conditions are corrected. <br /> <br />Mr. Dick Bur~ess, 4647 North Highway 10, requested that the traffic <br />situation on the service drive north of Highway 96 and west of <br />Highway 10 be rectified. He stated that from 200 to 300 cars <br />travel this "No Thoroughfare" each day. traveling at high speeds <br />In spite of the "15 mph" signs. <br /> <br />Mayor Crepeau advised Mr. Burgess that this Is a State road; the <br />Village has, and wi II continue to patrol It; that the Vi Ilage will <br />request that the State study the situation. <br /> <br />REPORT OF ATTORNEY VINCENT P. COURTNEY <br /> <br />Sanitary Sewer Improvements 14 and 15 <br />Attorney Courtney advised that, in his absence, Attorney James <br />Lynden reviewed the Conformed Contracts submitted by Dunkley <br />Surfacing (SS. Impr. 14) and by Gldeo Construction Company (SS. <br />Impr. 15) and has found them to be In proper form. <br /> <br />Attorney Courtney stated that the obtaining of easements In the <br />area south of Thom Drive has been difficult; waivers have not <br />been obtained from three properties; Chvestulk, Senske and Rasmussen. <br />(Mr. Chvestuik wi I' grant an easement for $950.00,) <br /> <br />After discussion. It was moved by Councilman Henderson that the <br />Conformed Contracts for Sanitary Sewer Improvement 14 and 15 be <br />approved. subject to possible change orders In Sanitary Sewer <br />Improvement 14; authorizing the contracts be executed by the Mayor <br />and Clerk Administrator; seconded by Councllman Olmen. Motion <br />carried unanimously. <br /> <br />Sanitary Sewer Improvement No.6 <br />Attorney Courtney advised that the assessment has not been abated <br />on the Village-owned water tower property. <br /> <br />It was moved by Councilman Henderson and seconded by Cou~cl Iman <br />Herrick that the resolution, as attached, be adopted. Motion <br />carried unanimously. <br /> <br />Sanitary Sewer Improvement No. 13 - Lesley Nordin Easement <br />Attorney Courtney reviewed Attorney Lynden's letter of August 22, <br />1970, advising that Mr. Lesley Nordin will give an easement through <br />his property for Sanitary Sewer Improvement 13 If the Village <br />will agree not to extend Floral Drive through his property. <br /> <br />After discussion, the Councifi agraed unanimously that the Village <br />will not extend Floral Drive west through the Nordin property as <br />long as Lesley Nordin owns the property. <br /> <br />Sanitary Sewer Improvement No. 13 - Northern States Power Consent <br />A~reement <br />It was moved by Councilman Henderson and seconded by Councilman <br />Olmen that the Consent Agreement be accepted. as attached.
