Can a front footage <br />charge be assessed? <br /> <br />Engineer Lund: <br />front footage. <br /> <br />It is not necessary that land be platted to assess by <br /> <br />Speaking in Opposition - None <br /> <br />Speaking in Favor - None <br /> <br />Mrs. Trudy Harmon, 1661 W. County Road F; Has the school been informed <br />of this sewer extension? <br /> <br />Mayor Crepeau: Affadavlts of publication have been received from <br />the New Brighton Bulletin and mailed notices of the hearing were sent <br />to al I property owners served by the extension. <br /> <br />Mr. Bartsch: If property on the north side of County Road F is being <br />sold, who is responsible for the assessment? <br /> <br />. <br />, <br /> <br />Mayor Crepeau: The fee owner is responsible. <br /> <br />Councilman John Hol lenhorst asked Engineer Lund if it is feasible for <br />Columbia Transit Company to connect to the same sewer line serving <br />Mounds View High School. <br /> <br />~ngineer Lund advised that the school owns the sewer line which is <br />connected to New Brighton. Plans for the sewer have not been studied, <br />but New Brighton Ma~ager and the engineer stated that the nursing <br />home in New Brighton was recently connected to the Mounds View High <br />School sewer line, and they questioned the capacity for additional <br />connections. <br /> <br />- 2 - <br />
