Mrs. Larson's statement <br />is atTached. <br /> <br />Mayor Henry Crepeau, advised the residents of a proposed ordinance <br />amendment now under consideration re Land Reclamation, which e <br />read I n part. <br /> <br /> <br />Mayor Crepeau read a letter from former Arden Hi I <br />E. Nethercut, stating his concern for the p <br />wet lands, pointing out that if the Village fills <br />It may be difficult to protect other wet lands. <br /> <br />Mayor Crepeau closed the Public Hearing at 9:58 p.m., after It <br />was determ I ned there w~re no further quest Ions or comments. <br /> <br />ayor Robert <br />n of the <br />its property, <br /> <br />It was moved by Councilman John Hollenhorst that the proposal for <br />the extended development of the park (Plan 12) be denied and the <br />original proposal (Plan II) be re-negotiated with the contractor. <br />The motion was seconded by Councilman E. Gray Henderson and carried <br />unanimously. (Councilman Ronald Herrick was requested to re- <br />negotiate the original contract.) <br /> <br />Five minute recess between hearings. <br /> <br />Sanitary Sewer Improvement No. 15 <br />Mayor Henry Crepeau opened the Public Hearing at 10:05 p.m. <br /> <br />Engineer Donald Lund described the proposed sewer project, extending <br />sanitary sewer west along County Road F to Columbia Transit Company, <br />a distance of approximately 1000 feet at an estimated cost of $14,650.00. <br /> <br />Questions and Comments From the rloor <br />Mr. Richard Bartsch, 1814 County Road F, asked If the extension would <br />be on the SOUTh side of County Road F. <br /> <br />Engineer Lund: Yes, that Is the proposal. <br /> <br />Mr. Bartsch: The north side of County Road <br />Company Is not platted, as far as I know. <br />charge be assessed? <br /> <br />F to Columbia Transit <br />Can a front footage <br /> <br />Engineer Lund: It Is not necessary that ~and be platted to assess <br />by fronT footage. <br /> <br />SpeakinQ In Opposition - None <br /> <br />SpeaklnQ in Favor - None <br /> <br />Mrs. Trudy Harmon, 1661 W. County Road F; Has the schooB been In- <br />formed of this sewer extension? <br /> <br />Mayor Crepeau: Affadavits of publication have been received from <br />the New Brighton Bulletin and mailed notices of the hearing were <br />sent to all property owners served by the extension. <br /> <br />Mr. Bartsch: If property on the north side of County Road F Is <br />being sold, who Is responsible for the assessment? <br /> <br />Mayor Crepeau: The fee owner Is responsible. <br /> <br />Councilman John Hoilenhorst asked Englneer Lund if it is feasible for <br />Columbia Transit Company to connect to the same sewer line serving <br />Mounds View High School, <br /> <br />-3- <br />
