Crepeau, Jr. at 8:00 p.m. Roll Call Present: Mayor Henry J. Crepeau, Jr., Councilmen John Hollenhorst, E. Gray Henderson and Ronald Herrick. Absent: Councilman Stanley Olmen. Approval of Minutes The MInutes of the Regular Council Meeting of June 29, 1970, were approved as amended. 1m rovement Representa ves presently under ects - Com letlon Schedules rom the var ous sewer and water Improvement projects, constructIon In Arden Hills, were present. Engineer Norman Hendrickson presented completion schedules to the CouncIl for the two (2) water projects, from Northern ContractIng Company for Water Improvement 68-3, and from Northdale Construction Company for Water Improvement 68-2. Mayor Crepeau read the completion schedules In their entIrety for the several residents present, and asked that questions and comments be directed to the representatives of the contracting companIes, the engineers, or the Council. Several residents commented on dissatisfaction with construction progress In the past; expressed concern for the satisfactory restora- tion of disturbed property. Mayor Crepeau advised the residents that the schedules will be kept on file at the Village office for their review, stating that the projects appear to be reaching completion about one (I) month early, In spite of the two (2) month strike delay in the spring. BUSINESS FROM THE FLOOR Mr. Jack Wles, 1948 Mounds Avenue, requested that the Mounds Avenue access to TH 10 be changed to follow the present sewer easement, creating an Improved access to TH 10. He also requested that the road be Improved and a cul-de-sac constructed on the west end. Mayor Crepeau explained that a petition, signed by the property owners on Mounds Avenue, should be submitted to the Council for consideration, Informl~g him that property owners are assessed for street Improvements. Temporary Structure Mr. Eugene Colestock, Dynacast Corporation, explained that a temporary covering was constructed over a portion of the loading dock at Arden Automatic last winter, a permanent addition was intended to be constructed this spring. Mr. Colestock requested that the temporary structure be permitted until the spring of 1971 because of the high costs of construction at this time. Mr. Colestock was requested to obtain a temporary permit for this existing structure from Building Inspector Clay Kelley; permit to expire In the spring of 1971. .
