3- <br />The Josephine Hills Garden Club is at present preparing <br />their questionnaire for distribution . <br />May <br />Philippa Lindquist reported on the results of the <br />Josephine Hills Garden Club questionnaire regarding development <br />of Ingerson Park. Of the better than 2/3 response , the majority <br />of families seemed interested in keeping the park quite natural <br />and neighborhood oriented . <br />1970 <br />City Council Minutes : July <br />C . R. Herrick reported that plans are currently being <br />prepared for the development of Ingerson Park , in which tennis <br />courts are proposed and hopefully will be constructed this summer . <br />August <br />Six picnic tables have arrived for use in the Village <br />parks . The group decided to place two in Ingerson Park . Ken <br />Boss moved to buy chains and locks for fastening the tables to <br />trees and to obtain trash barrels for the area of each table . <br />Motion passed . <br />October <br />Ken Boss moved that the basement on Ingerson Park <br />property be caved in and filled for safety and appearance . Mr . <br />McIntosh seconded the motion which was carried . <br />1971 <br />Parks and Recreation Committee Minutes : April <br />It was moved by P. Lindquist, seconded by T . LaNasa , <br />and carried that the Council be requested to have the Hyman <br />property made safe. Work was begun there last fall to collapse <br />the basement structure .
