8- <br />of Moss property of $2 , 000 for a piece of land with 20 ' on <br />Fernwood spreading out to 40 ' at the rear property line ) . <br />1 <br />A. Blomquist moved , seconded by P. Lindquist , that <br />since the Moss property is so important as a west neighborhood <br />access to Ingerson Park , the Committee recommends that the <br />Council enter negotiations for the purchase of the approximately <br />1 /2 acre from Ray Moss . Motion carried . <br />It was recommended that a softball backstop and basket- <br />ball backboard be purchased for Ingerson Park - also a hard <br />surface area be put in . <br />April <br />Council approved all the recommended purchases . <br />J . McTavish suggested reconsideration of equipment <br />Al/ <br />placement at Ingerson Park . <br />Committee will meet at 7 : 00 p .m. for the regular Parks <br />and Recreation Committee meeting on May 14 . The group will go <br />to Ingerson and Floral Park to look over possible changes in <br />equipment placement . <br />Mayor Crepeau will investigate possibilities other than <br />Moss property as easement to Ingerson Park . <br />June <br />Letter from Buckley to Council : Moss is willing to <br />sell 1 /2 acre for $5 , 000 . <br />Feyereisen brought letter to attention of Council ; the <br />importance of Moss property questioned by Council ; thought that <br />5 , 000 is too high . Council referred matter back to Parks and <br />Recreation committee for alternate possibilities .
