Motion carried unanimously . <br />1973 <br />Parks and Recreation Committee Minutes : March <br />G . Beggin also discussed the slowness of the develop- <br />ment progress of the baseball and soccer area at Perry Park. <br />The projects were approved in 1971 and received high priority <br />but the areas have not been available for play . <br />Boss moved that the Council place the fencing for the <br />west end of the soccer field on bids and installation be com- <br />pleted this spring . Seconded by Anderson . Motion carried . <br />Specifications are at Banister Engineering . <br />R. Anderson moved that neighboring villages and all <br />local contractors be contacted to seek clean fill to complete <br />the necessary grade for the baseball outfields at Perry Park . <br />If free fill is not obtained , then bids on the additional fill <br />should be obtained . Seconded by F. Bear; Motion carried . <br />April <br />The Committee felt that the following item should be <br />reviewed by the Council at their April 20th meeting . <br />Bids on protective fencing at Perry Park <br />New bids for Village Hall Site Improvement is se- <br />cured in time for the meeting . <br />Bids on grass mower replacement . <br />June <br />The protective fence along the Martin property has been <br />installed by Century Fence ; the Martin family is very pleased <br />with the fencing .
