MINUTES CONCERNING VALENTINE PARK <br />1965 <br />Minutes of Planning Commission= <br />Report #2 . Playground located at southwest corner <br />of Old Highway 51 and County Road F. This site is rather small <br />and in a location that is less than ideal for its intended <br />function . It should be retained , however ; as a neighborhood <br />playground developed with general play equipment and a ball - <br />field . (2 . 5 acres ) <br />1966 <br />Minutes of Parks and Recreation Committee : April <br />The County Road F playground equipment should be <br />delivered in May or June . It was decided that the fence <br />should be put up before the equipment is installed . <br />May <br />The playground on County Road F and Snelling was <br />discussed . A fence will also be erected around this property <br />and when this has been accomplished the new playground equip- <br />ment will be installed . <br />June <br />Correction to previous month ' s minutes . A fence <br />will be erected on Snelling only and not around the entire <br />playground on County Road F . Fill from Cummings Lane will <br />be used at County Road F playground to solve a few water prob- <br />lems . When it is leveled out , the playground equipment <br />presently being stored in the Village garage will be installed <br />and the fence will be erected on Snelling . <br />July <br />The land ( park ) at County Road F will be leveled on <br />July 20 .
