7- <br />Plan Land Use Map which proposed medium density housing and <br />park south of Round Lake , with a trail on the south and west <br />sides of the lake. Wingert advised that Council is currently <br />reviewing the Comprehensive Plan and any material change in the <br />Plan will necessitate its re-review by the Metro Council , prior <br />to its adoption by the City Council . <br />Several residents expressed land use recommendations : <br />Cheryl Grudnoske - desires residential and a small park - <br />leave border around lake as it is . <br />Leland Roebke - there is a need for more individual hous- <br />ing . <br />George lndykewicz - mixing ducks with people will not work - <br />leave the lake as it is . <br />Jane Johannsen - suggested Comprehensive Plan be changed to <br />410 reflect desires of the residents as expressed here tonight ; most <br />property owners are represented . <br />Orville Carlson - fire hazard exists around lake now ; will <br />be increased if opened to the public . <br />Leonard Grudnoske - leave lake as it is ; develop south and <br />in residential and park. <br />Allen Johnson - leave lake as it is ; should have all homes <br />around it; we ' ve got enough parks in the area now . <br />After considerable discussion , Peterson moved , seconded <br />by Winiecki , that the Planning Commission obtain the Village <br />Attorney ' s opinion re the following : <br />I . Can City put conditions on the land which Ramsey County <br />wishes to acquire , e . g . no pathway near residential <br />1
