2- <br />Engineer Lund read a letter of December 8 detailing <br />the method used on the Floral Drive Assessment, as related to <br />property to be acquired from Mr. Husby for recreational purposes . <br />Reapportionment of the assessment as detailed in the letter will <br />be accomplished following Village acquisition of the property . <br />December <br />Attorney Courtney reported that the title search has <br />been completed and the Contract for Deed prepared for Village <br />purchase of the Husby property . Trustee Bjorndahl moved approval <br />of the contract to purchase this property for $ 11 , 000 ; $ 10 , 000 <br />to be paid on or before December 31 , 1966 with interest of 5i% <br />from date of contract ; seconded by Trustee Nethercut , carried . <br />Attorney Courtney was requested to notify Ramsey County of tax- <br />exempt status of this property being acquired for Village pur- <br />poses . <br />1965 <br />Parks and Recreation Committee Minutes : December <br />Husby property - Bjorndahl reported that a contract <br />was made to pay $2 , 200 or more down as down payment . The Com- <br />mittee agreed that all money in land purchase fund at end of <br />year - and any other money left over in the recreation fund <br />should be applied to this property . <br />1966 <br />Village Council Minutes : January <br />The Village has bought II acres from Husby for <br />11 , 000. $ 10 ,000 has been paid , with the balance to be paid <br />before January I , 1967 .
