MINUTES CONCERNING CUMM NGS PARK <br />1973 <br />Parks and Recreation Committee Minutes : October <br />Priorities for Park Facilities : <br />Karth Lake - Because of the unique beauty of the Karth <br />Lake area , the Committee agreed that the Village should begin <br />negotiations for property in that area - Cummings property from <br />Lexington Avenue to existing State Highway 5 road easement . <br />Begin negotiations for Marlys Amble property from <br />Lexington Avenue to east shore of Karth Lake . <br />Cummings-Amble Property - Karth Lake Area , 4th priority . <br />All or any parts of the Cummings-Amble properties <br />available should be considered to obtain the most desirable park <br />site . <br />November <br />Karth Park : Councilman-elect Bill Feyereisen discussed <br />some possibilities of park acquisition adjacent to Karth Lake . <br />Committee voiced their appreciation for his interest . <br />1974 <br />Parks and Recreation Committee Minutes : February <br />Cummings Property ( 20 acres south of Karth Lake ) . No <br />progress has been made in the Committee ' s attempt to approach the <br />owners . <br />Motion made by McCauley , seconded by Becain , that Parks <br />and Recreation Committee draft a letter to Mrs . Cummings concern- <br />ing her property . Motion carried . <br />McIntosh and Lindquist will draft the letter .
