2- <br />May <br />Committee discussed Karth Lake area land acnuisition . <br />Cumminns property is favored by Committee for followinn reasons : <br />I . Adjacent to Highway 51 easement . <br />2 . Buffer between industrial and residential . <br />3 . Land is in one piece - not split like Amble property . <br />Two estimates for appraisal have been received by J . <br />Buckley . Motion made by M . Erickson , seconded by J . McTavish , <br />that Parks and Recreation Committee recommend Council proceed on <br />appraisal of Cummings property in Karth Lake area . Motion <br />carried . <br />October <br />There has been a break-through in possible acquisition <br />of Cummings property . Mrs . Cumminns and family members have <br />111 agreed to discuss sale of her land with Parks Director , Council <br />has approved appraisal of property . Appraisal is now being done . <br />November <br />J . Buckley reported that the Council has hired an ap- <br />praiser to appraise the Cummings property . Councilman Crichton <br />will work with appraiser on this . Once a fair price has been <br />established , it is hoped that an offer can be made before the <br />first of 1975 . <br />1975 <br />City Council Minutes : February <br />Acquisition of Cummings Property - Lynden referred Council <br />to his letter of 2/24/75 re acquisition of Marion Cummings Tracts , <br />and to the Purchase Agreement .
