<br />~/.. . <br /> <br />Minutes of Regular Council Meeting <br /> <br />May I I, i 970 <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />private property, as requested, to serve the properties to the <br />north of Thom Drive, and moved that the Council concur with this <br />recommendation; motion was seconded by Councilman E. Gray Henderson <br />and carried unanimously. <br /> <br />(Engineer Don Lund was told to proceed with advertisement for bids.) <br /> <br />Used Sluad Car <br />Councl man Stanley Olmen advised the Council that the Public Works <br />Committee recommends that one or possibly two trucks be re-placed <br />with either the used squad car or a pick-up truck. <br /> <br />The Council determined that the used squad car be transferred to the <br />Public Works Department on a temporary basis; sale of any equipment <br />to be deferred until further discussion and re-evaluation Is <br />completed. <br /> <br />Employment of Temporary Public Works Employee <br />Councilman Stanley Olmen moved that the Council approve the employment <br />of Arthur Erickson as a temporary Public Works employee at the rate <br />of $2.50 per hour; seconded by Councilman Ronald Herrick; motion <br />carried unanimously. <br /> <br />REPORT OF MAYOR HENRY J. CREPEAU, JR. - General Government and Public <br />Safety <br /> <br />Mayor Crepeau requested Clerk Administrator Lorraine Stromquist to <br />provide copies of invitations to four events to Councilmen. and to <br />make the necessary reservations for those who express a desire to <br />attend. <br /> <br />REPORT OF CLERK ADMINISTRATOR LORRAINE STROMQUIST <br /> <br />Attorney Courtney Claim <br />Clerk Administrator Lorraine Stromquist presented a letter and claim <br />from Attorney Vincent Courtney for Council approval of payment of <br />attorney fees. <br /> <br />It was moved by Councilman Ronald Herrick that the claim be paid. <br />seconded by Councilman Stanley Olmen; motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />Discussion of the disposition of revenue from Highway Patrol fines <br />followed. and It was determined by the Council to request the R.C.L.N. <br />to Initiate legislation to Include municipalities, as well as <br />Counties and State In receipt of a proportionate share of this <br />revenue. <br /> <br />ReQuest for Deadline for Presentation of Reports and Ordinance Drafts <br />The Council requested Clerk Administrator Lorraine Stromquist to <br />request Attorney Courtney and Engineer Lund to submit reports, <br />ordinance drafts etc. to the Village office for distribution to <br />the Councl I members at least by the Friday preceding a Councl I <br />meeting. <br /> <br />AdJournment <br />The meeting adjourned at 10:50 p.m. <br /> <br /> <br />i <br /> <br />Lorraine Stromqu st <br />Clerk Administrator <br /> <br />nb <br /> <br />. <br />
