Referred to Mrs. Stromquist. <br /> <br />Case Nos.70-5C and 70-11, Continental 01 I Company <br />Councilman Hollenhorst moved, seconded by Councilman Oimen, that <br />the special use permit and variance requests of the Continental <br />01 I Company be tab Oed until the April 27. 1970, Counc! I meeti ng, <br />as requested by Continental 011 Company In their letter, dated <br />Apri I ~3, 1970; motion carried unanimously. Councilman Hollenhorst <br />advised the COuncl I that the Planning CommiSSion had recommended <br />denial. <br /> <br />Case No. 70-6, David H. Carlson <br />Councilman Hollenhorst moved approval of David Carlson's request <br />for a five foot sideyard setback variance to allow the construction <br />of a double garage at 3136 Rldgewood Road; seconded by Councilman <br />Herrick; motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />Case No. 70-8. Harkins G06f Tees <br />Councilman Hol!enhors~ moved, seconded by Councilman Olmen, ap- <br />proval of Mr. Harold Kestner's request to al low construction of <br />a 20 x 22 feet addition to the present building for use as an <br />office; motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />~ No. 69-23, St. Paul Book end Stationery <br />Councilman Hollenhorst moved, seconded by Councilman Henderson, <br />that the amended landscape plans, dated April 7, 1970, for the <br />St. Pau I BOOk and Stat i onery, be app roved and the per for'mance <br />bond be transferred to cover the amended plans; motion carried <br />unanimously. <br /> <br />Highway 5i, Preliminary Layout Plans <br />The Councl I had received caples of the sub-committee's report <br />regarding this preliminary plan by the Minnesota Highway Depart- <br />ment for an Interchange at Highway 51 and Snelling Avenue. The <br />Committee recommended to the Highway Department that they consider <br />locating the proposed interchange at Lydia and Snelling Avenues. <br /> <br />The Councl I agreed with Councilman Herrick's suggestion that the <br />Council send a letter to Congressman Kerth, Senator Ashbach and <br />Representative Andersen to Inform them of the Council's fee!lngs <br />on the matter. Councilman HoGlenhorst wi Ii submit a proposed <br />le'tter to Mrs. Stromquist. <br /> <br />The Council referred the plans to the Public Works and Public <br />Safety Committees. <br /> <br />Pro~erty Valuat!on St~ <br />Councilman Hoilenhorst advised that this Committee hes prepared <br />a property valuation report which Treasurer Read will give to <br />Mr. (rnest R.
