Clerk Administrator submitted State Pollution Control <br />Agency material to Attorney Courtney, which, when returned, <br />wi II be referred to the Public Safety Committee. <br /> <br />Ordinance Drafts - Service Stations, Off Street Parking and <br />Underground Utilities <br />The Planning Commission recommends approval of the proposed service <br />station ordinance, off street parking in resldentiai areas <br />ordinance and the underground uti Ilties ordinance, subject to <br />the approval of Attorney Courtney; ordinance drafts referred to <br />Attorney Courtney. <br /> <br />Proposed Amendment to Ordinance No. 95, Planning Co~mlsslon <br />Alternates <br />The Planning Commission's request to modify Ordinance No. 95 to <br />permit the first alternate to vote when Bess than nine members <br />are present was referred to Attorney Courtney. <br /> <br />Continental 01 I Company <br />The Continental 011 Company subject was tabled at their request. <br /> <br />REPORT OF ENGINEER DONALD LUND <br /> <br />Metro Sewer Board Request <br />Engineer Lund informed the Council that the Metro Sewer Board <br />has requested a set, In triplicate, of the sewer improvements <br />now being constructed and also a copy of the Village's master <br />sewer plan; If the master plan Is approved by the Board, It prob- <br />ably will not be necessary to submit portion of the pian to <br />them. <br /> <br />The Council concurred with his suggestion to send sewer plans as <br />constructed In addition to the proposed plans. <br /> <br />Engineering Rate Agreement, General Services <br />Engineer Lund submitted a written proposal, as attached. <br /> <br />REPORT OF TREASURER WORTH G. READ <br /> <br />Fi nances <br />Mr. Read reported that money wil! be ava! lable to meet contractors' <br />estimates as determined by Engineer Lund's last cost estimate <br />report. <br /> <br />REPORT OF BUILDING INSPECTOR CLAY KELLEY <br /> <br />Northern States Power Company Matters <br />Mr. Kelley reported that the appearance of the premises at the <br />substation on Old Highway 10 meets Village specifications at the <br />present time. <br /> <br />Mr. Kelley recommended approval of the building plans for the <br />proposed control house. <br /> <br />REPORT OF COUNCILMAN JOHN HOLLENHORST - Planning and Zoning <br /> <br />Case No. 70-1. Northern States Power Company. Control House Building <br />Permit <br />Councilman Ho!lenhorst moved, seconded by Councilman HerriCk, ap- <br />proval of the Issuance of the building permit for the construction <br />of a control house at 4100 North Fernwood Avenue, subject to the <br />posting of the $5,000 landscape bond; motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />Street Light. Dellvlew and Glenvlew Avenues <br />The Councl I agreed with Mr. Nick Dreis' recommendation not to re- <br />move this light until the expiration of the present contract and, <br />at that time, to replace It with a mercury vapor type light. <br />Mr. Dreis wi II submit a report to Mrs. Stromquist prior to an <br />agreement. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />-2- <br />
