Read, Attorney Vincent P. Courtney, Engineer <br />Donald Lund, Maintenance Supervisor Everett Beecher <br />and Deputy Clerk Florence M. Honan <br /> <br />Approval of Minutes <br />The Minutes of the Regular Council Meeting of-March.9, 1970, were <br />approved as amended. <br /> <br />Ordinance Review Committee Report - Plumbln~ Code <br />John Sullivan, Chairman, presented a report of the Committee meeting <br />of March 5, 1970, which recommended adoption of the Minnesota <br />Plumbing Code without any modifications. Attorney Courtney was <br />requested to prepare an ordinance draft. <br /> <br />Lake Lane Extension Request - Warren Hanson <br />Warren Hanson, 3191 Lexington Avenue, appeared and requested a <br />200 foot extension of Lake Lane as explained In his letter of March <br />17, 1970. Matter referred to the Public Works Committee for study. <br /> <br />Engineer Lund Informed the Council that several properties would <br />be affected so If the Village planned to levy assessments for the <br />Improvement this would necessitate a public hearing. <br /> <br />Jaycee's Honey Sunday <br />William Benzick, member of the Arden Hills Jaycees, reported that <br />Sunday, April 26, will be Minnesota Honey Sunday. The Arden HI lis <br />Jaycees wi Ii be selling 12 ounce Jars of honey door to door; pro- <br />ceeds will go to the Minnesota Association for Retarded Children. <br /> <br />BUSINESS FROM THE FLOOR <br /> <br />None <br /> <br />REPORT OF ENGINEER DONALD LUND <br /> <br />Ramsey County Ditch No. 12 <br />Engineer Lund had submitted a cost report, dated March 12, 1970, <br />regarding the proposed storm sewer along Lexington Avenue. The <br />report was referred to Attorney Courtney to discuss cost partici- <br />pation with Shorevlew and Ramsey County. <br /> <br />On completion of the Attorney's report, the matter Is to be re- <br />ferred to the Finance Committee. <br /> <br />Water improvement 68-2 and 68-3 <br />Upon recommendation of Attorney Courtney, the revised project <br />summary,dated March 30, 1970, for the above captioned Improvement <br />was approved for submission to HUD. <br /> <br />Costs for VII~age maIntenance work on the project are to be Isolated <br />to establish Village expense during the Improvement. <br /> <br />REPORT OF VILLAGE ATTORNEY ViNCENT P. COURTNEY. <br /> <br />Water Improvement 68-2 and 68-3 <br />Councilman Hoilenhorst moved, seconded by Councilman Olmen, to <br />approve for payment invoice No. B4 477-70, dated March 25, 1970, <br />In the amount of $3,500 to HUD to cover government Inspection <br />costs for Project No. WS-4-24-0091; carried unanimously. <br /> <br />'I <br />
