READ <br /> <br />Pollution Control Meetin~ <br />M~. Read reported on the Pollution Control Meeting whIch he attended. <br />Meeting was sponsored by the Minnesota Pollution Control Agency <br />concerning amendments to air po~lution control RegulatIon APC-I. <br /> <br />Census Discussion Meetin~ _ <br />A discussion meeting was held Thursday, March 19, 19'10, and attended <br />by Mr. Guy Lutz and Mrs. Dale Freeman, representing the Census <br />Bureau; Robert Nethercut, Metro Council Staff; Mayor Crepeau, <br />Treasurer Worth G. Read and Cierk Administrator LorraIne Stromquist. <br />Rules and regulations regarding the census were clarified for the <br />Village officials. <br /> <br />Treasurer Read further reported that the Finance Committee drafted <br />a letter regarding the census which was mailed to ali Arden Hi lIs <br />residents. <br /> <br />REPORT OF COUNCILMAN HERRICK - Parks and Recreation and Human Rights <br /> <br />Parks and Recreation Committee Report <br />Councilman Herrick reviewed the Committee minutes of March 17, <br />1970. He also reported that Mrs. Jacqueline Spratt, secretary, <br />wi II be resigning probably in May. Mayor Crepeau requested the <br />Council and the Committee members to submit recommendations to <br />him for a repijacement. <br /> <br />Mass Transit Meetlna <br />Councilman Herrick attended this meeting on March 26, 1970; meeting <br />was sponsored by the Metro Councl I. He reported that 6 planning <br />consultants, Including Arden Hi lis Planner Carl Dale, have been <br />authorized by the Metro Council to meet with suburban area offlclais <br />to obtain opinions and feeUlngs regarding a transit system.
