Snel ling Avenue and the <br />Dynacast building in the industrial Park are both of a temporary <br />nature with construction costs under $300.00; Mr. Kelley reported <br />that both additions wi II be removed at the end of the winter. <br /> <br />Building Inspector's Camera Purchase <br />Mr. Kelley Informed the Councl I that he has purchased a Polaroid <br />camera. which he intends to use for inspection purposes. <br /> <br />REPORT OF COUNCILMAN HOLLENHORST - Planning and Zoning <br /> <br /><Absent - report given by Rod Schumacher) <br /> <br />Proposed Automobile Service Station Ordinance <br />Clerk Administrator was requested to furnish background material <br />to Councilman Herrick before the January 26 Councl I meeting. <br />Attorney Courtney was requested to prepare the proposed ordinance <br />in final form and to Include the recommendations from the Plan- <br />ning Commission meeting of January 6, 1970. <br /> <br />Proposed Zoning Ordinance Amendment - Service Stations <br />Clerk Administrator was requested to furnish background material <br />to Councilman Herrick before the January 26 Councl I meeting. <br />Attorney Courtney was requested to prepare the proposed ordinance <br />amendment In final form. <br /> <br />Temporary Building Addition <br />Mr. Schumacher reported the Planning Commission's suggestion that <br />If the Council feels an addition Is unsightly or hazardous, the <br />owner could be required to remove the addition as this would be <br />in violation of the Zoning Ordinance. No action taken. <br /> <br />REPORT OF COUNCILMAN HERRICK - Parks and Recieat!on and Human Rights <br /> <br />Arden Hills Jaycees <br />Roger Rei ling,member of the Jaycees, took pictures of the present- <br />ation of the plaque and Or. BJorndahi and also of the Councl I. <br />Councilman Herrick Informed the press that these pictures would <br />be available to them. <br /> <br />REPORT OF COUNCiLMAN HENDERSON - Finance and Civic Center <br /> <br />No report <br /> <br />REPORT OF COUNCILMAN OLMEN - Public Works <br /> <br />"Snowblrd"Ordinance <br />See Attorney Courtney's report <br /> <br />Pub II c Works <br />Councilman Olmen reported that the new snowplow purchased by the <br />Vi Ilage Should be delivered In about 2 weeks. <br /> <br />REPORT OF MAYOR CREPEAU - Public Safety <br /> <br />Annual Village Appointments <br />C~erk Administrator Lorraine Stromquist presented legal publication <br />bids from the New Brighton Bulletin and Sun Newspapers for Council <br />consideration. <br /> <br />Counci !man Henderson moved, seconded by Councilman Herrick, to <br />appoint the New Brighton Bulletin for a period of 6 months during <br />which timo a study will be made by the Counc! I regarding circul- <br />ation and subscription price of both newspapers. <br /> <br />- <br />
