1. Term of Contract <br />1.1. This Contract shall commence on May 5, 2025, and shall remain in full force and <br />effect through either May 4, 2028 (3 year) or May 4, 2030 (5 year), unless terminated <br />in accordance with Section 13 of this Contract. <br />1.2. The City at its sole discretion may elect to extend the Contract for three (3) or five (5), <br />one (1) year increments (determined by initial contract length) or the City at its sole <br />discretion may elect to extend the Contract for one (1), three (3) or five (5) year <br />extension (determined by initial contract length). The terms and conditions of this <br />Contract shall apply to any such Contract extension. Nothing in this Contract shall be <br />interpreted to imply or infer that the City is committing to such extensions. <br />1.3. At least six months prior to the expiration of this Contract (or any extension period), <br />the City shall notify the Contractor of its decision as to whether or not to exercise its <br />extension option.
