<br />ARDEN HILLS REGULAR CITY COUNCIL MEETING MINUTES <br />APRIL 28, 2003 <br /> <br />8 <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />Councilmember Larson suggested instead of the clause being removed, it be <br />changed to read: "Whereas, in an effort to accommodate new residents in the <br />Twin Cities, the Metropolitan Council calls for growth and redevelopment along <br />transportation corridors and for increased redevelopment, adaptive ruse, and infill; <br />and" <br /> <br />Mr. Filla noted the intent was to indicate that the Vento Plan was consistent with <br />the Metropolitan Council approved Arden Hills Comprehensive Plan. <br /> <br />Mayor ApIikowski stated she wanted that Whereas clause to read: "Whereas, in <br />an effort to accommodate new residents in the Twin Cities area in the future, the <br />Metropolitan Council calls for growth and redevelopment along transportation <br />corridors." <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />Mr. Filla requested the third whereas clause read: "Whereas, a stated goal of the <br />City's Comprehensive Plan which has been approved by the Metropolitan Council <br />is to "Develop the TCAAP land sequentially as it is released, with integrated land <br />uses according to the TCAAP Framework Plan." <br /> <br />Mr. Filla requested the last sentence of the Resolution to read: "Passed and <br />adopted unanimously by the City Council of the City of Arden Hills this 28th day <br />of April, 2003." <br /> <br />MOTION: Councilmember Grant moved and Councilmember Larson <br />seconded a motion to adopt Resolution No. 03-37: A <br />Resolution Opposing the Postal Service's Relocation to the <br />TCAAP Property, as amended. The motion carried <br />unanimously (5-0). <br /> <br />7. OPERATIONS AND MAINTENANCE <br /> <br />A. Resolution No. 03-40: Adoptinl! the FINAL 2003 PMP Karth Lake East <br />and IUl!erson Neil!hborhood <br /> <br />.. Mr. Brown stated at the April 14, 2003 City Council Meeting, the Council had <br />directed the City Engineer to prepare a revised assessment roll for those 14 <br />properties located on the comers abutting Amble Drive, Dunlap Street, and Tiller <br />
